The tour includes an opportunity to exchange currency and purchase local SIM cards for communication during the trip. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner. Afterward, the group will gather for introductory remarks and a detailed briefing about the upcoming itinerary, travel guidelines, and expectations for the next days of the trip. Day 2 – Marine Park and Haller Park
After breakfast, the group departs for an excursion to Marine Park, a protected coastal area known for its clear waters and rich marine life. Participants enjoy a “Sea Safari” including snorkeling, glass-bottom-boat rides, and walking across shallow reefs at low tide to observe sea creatures in their natural habitat. Later, the trip continues to Haller Park, a peaceful nature reserve and rehabilitation sanctuary. Visitors stroll along shaded forest paths, encounter giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, giant tortoises, and monkeys, and may even hand-feed the giraffes — a highlight for families and nature lovers alike. Day 3 – Mombasa City and Village Experience
After breakfast, the group embarks on a comprehensive city tour of Mombasa, exploring both its historic and cultural highlights. The tour continues through Mombasa’s old town, where participants can view the famous Elephant Tusks Monument, stroll through the colorful market, and visit the historic Jewish Cemetery. In the afternoon, the group travels “into the villages of Kenya” — a fascinating glimpse into traditional village life and the country’s rural culture. Day 4 – Passover Holiday

Guests are encouraged to relax by the beach or pool between the organized sessions.
As the holiday concludes, the group gathers for Ma’ariv (evening prayer), followed by a private Second Seder for those who observe it. For the rest of the participants, a rich outdoor barbecue dinner is served, accompanied by live African music and cultural performances, blending traditional holiday joy with authentic local flavor. Day 5 – Passover and Shabbat Preparation
This day is dedicated to continued Passover holiday activities and preparation for the upcoming Shabbat. Guests enjoy a relaxed morning at the hotel with meals served under full kosher supervision. Throughout the day, participants can take part in optional recreational activities, swimming, and family programs arranged by the local team.
In the afternoon, preparations for Shabbat begin. The hotel is fully enclosed within an eruv, ensuring all Shabbat observances are strictly maintained according to halacha. As evening approaches, guests gather by the sea for a joyous Kabbalat Shabbat service with traditional songs, followed by Ma’ariv and a festive Shabbat dinner featuring fine dishes and a warm community atmosphere. Day 6 – Shabbat in Mombasa
Shabbat morning begins peacefully with coffee and cake before morning prayers in the hotel’s synagogue, followed by Shacharit and Torah reading. The afternoon offers leisure time with optional light walks along the beach, swimming in the pool, or joining family activities organized by the team. Later, the group gathers for Mincha and the Third Meal, featuring varied dishes and songs. As evening falls, guests take part in Ma’ariv, Havdalah, and the transition to the holiday atmosphere with a lively dinner, including acrobatic shows and Maasai dance performances that celebrate African culture. Day 7 – First Safari Day: Taita Hills Reserve
Early in the morning, after breakfast, the group departs for the highlight of the trip — the first day of the safari adventure. Participants board 4×4 Land Cruiser jeeps and begin a scenic drive toward the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, one of Kenya’s most beautiful and ecologically diverse reserves.
Upon arrival, guests check in at the world-renowned Salt Lick Safari Lodge, built on stilts overlooking active waterholes where elephants, buffalo, and antelopes gather. After lunch and a short rest, the group sets out again for an evening safari drive, when many animals become active as the sun sets over the savanna.

Day 8 – Second Safari Day: Tsavo National Park
After breakfast, the group departs for a full-day safari through Tsavo National Park, Kenya’s largest and one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves. The drive between Taita Hills and Tsavo reveals stunning landscapes of red soil, acacia trees, and endless savannas. Upon entering the park, participants embark on a thrilling game drive to spot members of the Big Five — elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos — along with zebras, giraffes, and countless bird species.
A freshly prepared lunch will be served inside the reserve by the kitchen staff, allowing travelers to enjoy a meal in the heart of nature. In the afternoon, the safari continues across new areas of the park before returning to Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge, full board.

Day 10 – Seventh Day of Passover (Shvi’i Shel Pesach)
The day begins with holiday prayers marking the Seventh Day of Passover. Guests enjoy festive meals and a relaxed schedule within the hotel and nearby surroundings. Torah lessons, family programs, and children’s activities are held throughout the day to maintain the holiday spirit.
After sunset, the group gathers for Ma’ariv (evening prayer), followed by a festive dinner celebrating the closing of the holiday. For guests who do not observe the second festival day, a special Mimouna celebration is arranged — featuring traditional Moroccan sweets, live music, acrobatics, and Maasai dance performances that highlight the fusion of cultures and joy.

Day 11 – Second Day of Shvi’i Shel Pesach

Day 12 – Funzi Island Cruise
After breakfast, the group departs for a full-day boat excursion to Funzi Island, one of Kenya’s most memorable experiences. The journey begins with a drive south of Mombasa, followed by a ferry crossing and boarding of traditional dhow boats for a scenic cruise across turquoise waters toward Funzi and the “Disappearing Island”, near the Tanzanian border. Along the way, participants enjoy breathtaking views of mangrove forests and small fishing villages along the Indian Ocean.
An authentic visit is made to Swahili coastal communities, offering insight into their local culture and daily life. A delicious lunch is served at a seaside restaurant on the island, surrounded by tropical scenery. Day 13 – Shabbat in Mombasa

Day 14 – Departure
After an early breakfast, guests complete the check-out process and prepare for their return flight to Israel. Before leaving, there is time for a short farewell meeting and an opportunity to share impressions from the trip and exchange contact information with fellow travelers.
Transfer to Mombasa International Airport is arranged by the tour team in comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles. Upon arrival at the airport, staff assist with check-in procedures and luggage handling to ensure a smooth departure experience.
